Two small lights that go straight into an outlet and run without a cord or batteries. Brightness dials smoothly from a faint glow up to enough light to see a staircase clearly. Meant for the hall, the landing and the bedroom.
Switching on the ceiling light to walk downstairs at night is too much; walking in the dark is too little. A dimmable light lets you land exactly in between. Two in the box means you cover two spots at once.

Use an outlet low to the floor and the light falls on the walking route rather than the ceiling. Turn the brightness all the way down during the day and back up as it gets dark. Unplug it before wiping the housing with a dry cloth.
