Why choose an underwater pool lamp?

Light aimed at a pool from the side mostly bounces off the surface. Put the source under the water and the water itself carries the color, which is the effect people are actually after. Suction mounting keeps it a five-minute job with no cable run and no drilling.

Press the cup flat against a clean smooth panel and squeeze the air out from behind it for a firm grip. It runs submerged or dry, so the same lamp can sit in a pond in July and inside a glass vase in December. Power comes from three AAA cells, which you supply yourself.
