A slim metal frame carrying polarized lenses with a UV400 filter. The polarizing layer takes the bounce off wet roads, water and car windows out of the picture. The back surface is treated as well, so you do not see your own face reflected in the lens.

What polarization changes

A dark lens dims everything equally, glare included, which is not the same as removing it. Polarization filters that reflected light out, so the view settles down without the lens having to go darker. Behind the wheel and near water the difference is hard to miss.

Do not straighten the arms by hand, because metal keeps a bend and the pair then sits crooked. Clean the lenses with a microfiber cloth and a drop of water, never a paper tissue. Set them down lenses up when you take them off for a minute.
